Debuted in 2008, the Donkervoort D8 Race belongs to the 1st generation of the D8 model. Under the hood, this version is powered by a straight 4 1781cc engine which delivers maximum output of 210 hp at 6000 rpm and a maximum torque of 320 nm. The D8 Race is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100km/h in 4.2 seconds at a maximum speed of 235 km/h. The powertrain of the vehicle has been mated with a 5-speed gearbox. As for the seating arrangement, it offers space for up to 2 persons. This Donkervoort uses double wishbones suspension with coil springs at the front and double wishbones suspension with coil springs at the rear axle.
