Jaguar finally revealed the 2013 F-Type including all of its technical specs at the Paris Motor Show 2012.
The F-Type is sold in three trim levels: F-Type, F-Type S and F-Type V8 S. The standard car gets a 340ps supercharged, 3.0-liter V6, the F-Type S has a 380ps tune of the same engine and the F-Type V8 S uses a new 495ps tune of Jaguar's 5.0-liter turbocharged V8. All versions come standard with an eight-speed automatic transmission and stop/start. The S and V8 S both have an exhaust system with a valve the opens above 3,000rpm to make the car louder. The V8 S has standard launch control. The V6 models have a dual, center-mounted exhaust, while the V8s get dual exhausts on either side.
The standard engine gets the car to 100km/h in 5.3 seconds with 209g/km of CO2 emissions. The 380ps version takes 4.9 seconds with 213g/km of CO2 emissions, and the V8 takes 4.3 seconds with 259g/km of CO2 emissions.
