Fisker Automotives is all about green sportscars, although the company states that it intends to have other products in the future. Created in 2007 from a joint venture between Fisker Coachbuilt and Quantum Technologies, the Fisker main goal is to explore a segment that hasn’t received much attention from carmakers: luxury eco-friendly cars.

Fisher Coachbuilt provides de design and Quantum Technologies provide the technological knowledge.

The pride and joy of the Fisker Automotives is Fisker Karma, that according to the company is the “world’s first eco-chic car created in equally eco-friendly facilities”. The main innovation is a plug-in hybrid technology called "Quantum Drive". But the fact that almost everything is outsourced in the car is also something new to this business, saving big costs in the model conception and production.
