Fittipaldi Automotive was a Formula One team, the only so far, based on Brazil. The Fittipaldi brothers started the company in 1974 and Emerson, double time F1 champion, left Mclaren to run for the family team. From 1975 to 1982, the team entered 119 Grand Prix races. Fittipaldi’s best mark is the 7th place in constructor’s championship in 1978 and 1979 and the 10th place in the driver’s championship that Emerson achieved in 1978.
