Interceptor is a concept car by Ford. It was presented at the North American auto Show (NAIAS) in 2007. Its looks are a reminiscence of the sporty elegance that characterized American muscle cars from the 1960s. Under the hood, the Interceptor has 5.0l Cammer V8 that runs on E-85 Ethanol, producing 400 hp. The car is fitted with a 6-speed manual transmission. The innovative side of the Interceptor is Ford’s patented four-point “belt and suspenders” in all four seat and inflatable seat belts in the rear seats.
The concept was though for the man with a family and that likes power and performance.
