Mondeo's fifth generation was unveiled at the 2012 Paris Motor Show and it is offered in three body styles - estate, sedan and five-door notchback. All models get a new rear suspension that Ford claims makes the cabin quieter and improves the ride for rear passengers.
The Mondeo is available with the 1.0-liter Ecoboost, 1.6-liter ECOnetic diesel, a hybrid version and an all-wheel drive diesel. The hybrid uses a 2.0-liter petrol engine with a 47hp electric motor to improve economy. There is also a 1.5l and 2.0l Ecoboost engines and a 2.0l diesel.
The fifth gen Mondeo is packed with options including Ford's new advanced parking assist system that allows the car to perpendicular park without human intervention, full LED headlights, power tailgate, massaging seats, rear inflating seatbelts, Ford Sync with an 8in touchscreen.
