Ford built a one-off Mustang celebrating the 60th anniversary of the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds. The 2014 car was built to be sold in a charity auction to benefit flight training for young people. The car is also the first 2014 model year Mustang that was built.

The one-off car is based on a Mustang GT with a glass roof. The exterior is painted like the Thunderbirds’ jets with a white field and red and blue accents. It comes with a wide-body kit and 22in wheels. The interior gets navigation, rear seat-delete and Recaro seats with the Thunderbirds logo. The puddle lights project an aircraft silhouette on the ground.

The 5.0-liter V8 gets a supercharger from Ford Racing, and the car also has a Ford Racing suspension handling pack and Brembo brakes.

The Air Force Thunderbirds are a multi-jet stunt flight demonstration team that use red, white and blue-painted F-16 Falcon fighter jets.
