Taurus was released in 1986. This full-size 4-door sedan is one of the oldest Ford models in production. It is currently on the sixth generation, introduced in 2010. This series brought back the SHO (Super High Output) version that was discontinued in 1999. A Taurus police version is likely to replace the Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor that will end production in 2011. It is already scheduled a design refresh for 2013.
