Transit is a light commercial van introduced in 1965. It only arrived to the United States in 2010, as Transit Connect. It is very popular in Europe. The six millionth unit was produced in 2010. The seventh generation was released in 2006 and was awarded Van of the Year. A more fuel efficient generation was launched in 2011.
