Italy Italy (1963 - present)

about:

Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. was ‘born’ in 1963 when founder Ferruccio Lamborghini transformed his former tractor factory – Lamborghini Trattori S.p.A. – into a high performance sports car manufacturer. Before he opened the company, Ferruccio was passionate for sports cars and owned a few of these sports vehicles himself. The company headquarters are still located near Bologna, Italy, in a small village called Sant’Agata Bolognese.

Since 1998, the Italian brand with the fighting bull on its logo, belongs to the large German Volkswagen Group and has seen steady increases in production, only interrupted by the global financial crisis in 2008. Today, it still offers customers sports- and supersports cars, known for the iconic design.
