Grecav was founded in 1964 by Cav. Bruno Grespan, who is also the current president of the company. The Italian company that has its headquaters in Gonzaga, originated from the merger of two companies, one producing mechanics for agriculture, the other making vehicles bodies. The company continued both traditions, manufacturing agricultural machinery as well as light passenger cars. Today, Grecav only produce one passenger vehicle, the Sonique.
