Hybrid, Turbo CRZ Racing in Japan

Hybrid cars are beginning to race in the Super GT GT300 class. Toyota has a Prius and starting the next race at Sugo Honda will have a hybrid CRZ. There is not really enough to do a full post on it, but the car uses a twin-turbocharged 2.8 liter V6 with a sport hybrid system that Honda and Mugen developed specifically for this car.
It looks fantastic, but we'll have to see how it performs. The cool thing about Super GT is that encourages experimentation. Teams build whatever engine they want, and the governing body limits it down to either 300hp or 500hp depending on class.
