Datsun unveiled the mi-DO at the 2014 Moscow Motor Show. It is a sporty five-door hatchback and shares the same platform with the on-DO sedan.
Despite sharing the same platform the Datsun mi-DO it is shorter than the on-DO in order to emphasize the dynamic driving features. The mi-DO is 3950mm long while the on-DO is 4337mm. The 1,500mm of height and 1700mm of width remain unchanged.
Regarding design of the mi-DO, the front is dominated by Datsun's "D-Cut" grille, but differs from the on-DO through the elongated headlamps that stretch almost from the grid up to fenders.
The mi-DO is equipped with a 1.6-liter 8 valve engine with 87hp that is coupled with a manual five-speed gearbox. However, Datsun also offers an automatic four-speed gearbox.
