With a very distinctive profile, the design of the Etherea concept is different from the current models featuring in the premium compact class. Thanks to a new mechanical layout and access arrangements Infiniti claims that the Etherea with its 4.4m of length is highly compact but still offers space efficiency and practicality.
In the design of the Etherea Infiniti has included some cues that will be present in future production models of the luxury brand, including the distinctive crescent-shaped C-pillar first seen on the Essence concept.

Infiniti presents the Etherea concept car at the 81st Geneva Motor Show in March 2011.
