Iota Racing Cars was founded by Dick Caesar, Jim Bosisto and J. Fry, in Alma Vale, Bristol, UK, in 1949 to build low cost racing cars. Iota cars were given individual names. In 1949 an Iota won the Weston Speed Trial and the support race to the 1950 British GP at Silverstone.
