about this car

The second generation of the E-Type was manufactured from 1968 to 1970, basically consisting on a designing and interior upgrade. Quite a good number of changes were made from the first E-Type to the second, especially in order to meet the more and more strict safety and emission directives.   The most distinctive trait from the second series model is its open headlights, opposite the previous covered ones. In terms of performance, the second E-Type is a bit less quick than the first one, due to slight horsepower and top speed reduction, which results from the U.S.’ safety laws.
