Ledl, a licensed version of the British Nova kit car, was a low price sports car produced by Ledl AS, an Austrian car builder. The first protypes were presented in 1978 and the first model debuted at the International Motor Show (IAA) in Frankfurt, in 1981. The Company prospered until beginning 1980’s. The introduction of mandatory catalytic converters in Austria in 1987 dictated the dead of Ledl that could not introduce the converters soon enough to see their cars road approved and suffered great losses.
