Launched in 2008 the Kia Forte is a compact car built by Kia Motors, which was developed to replace the Cerato. The Forte is available in two-door coupe, four-door sedan, five-door hatchback variants and isn't available in Europe, where the similar sized Kia Cee'd is offered.

In some markets the Forte is still sold as Kia Cerato, while its predecessor of the same name. In singapore it is marketed as Kia Cerato Forte, while in Malaysia it is sold as Naza Forte.

The Forte is based on the same platform used on the Hyundai Elantra, but the Kia model employs a torsion-beam rear suspension in stead of the Elantra's multilink design.
