In 2012 Lamborghini unveiled the 2013 LP 570-4 Super Trofeo to race at the Super Trofeo series and because of it it got a 120% improvement in aerodynamic efficiency over the 2012 model and a 50% improvement in front brake cooling. It can produce 128kg of downforce in the low-downforce set-up or 160g in the high-downforce setting.
“We have taken a significant step forward with the aerodynamic performance of the new Gallardo LP 570-4 Super Trofeo, but still the car stays true to our core principles. We believe that it is important to evolve the car, while ensuring Super Trofeo remains an attractive series in which to compete," said Maurizio Reggiani, head of Lamborghini Motorsport.
