Mitsubishi Lancer (Japan, 2007-present)

The eighth and current generation of the Mitsubishi Lancer was officially revealed at the Detroit Motor Show of January 2007 and the car’s production began that year.
However, this model has its roots back in 2005, when two concept models were presented: the Concept-X model car that was seen at the Tokyo Motor Show and the Concept-Sportback revealed at that year’s Frankfurt Motor Show. These are the models which the 8th Lancer directly derives from.
