In 1952, Lancia launched its second series Aurelia coupe and sedan. The new coupe’s power was increased and the new sedan is now dubbed B22.
It is said that a rare 4-seat convertible B50 was seen in Holland.
The series 2 production ended with almost 1100 units built.

topUmberto Maglioli and Luciano Monteferrario drove a standard Aurelia B22 sedan at the 1952 Mille Miglia and placed 19th overall, while winning the National Tourism class of over 1500 cc.
Maglioli also drove a Roots-supercharged 2-liter Aurelia B20 at the Carrera Mexicana in the same year and scored the forth place.
Plus, the B20 cars that were driven by Gino Valenzano, Bonetto and Anselmi at the 1952 Targa Florio finished the race in an impressive 1-2-3 place row.
