In 2010 Lotus revealed a new evolution of the Evora: the Evora IPS (Intelligent Precision Shift) option.
This version of the Evora features an automatic 6-speed gearbox with Lotus developed transmission control matted with a 3.5 l V6 engine with a maximum output of 280 PS. Drivers can switch between manual paddle shift and automatic drive modes. The driver also has the option of selecting ‘sport’ mode, allowing him be in complete control of the transmission.
