The British company launched their first (limited) production model in 1998, the supercar Ascari Ecosse. Shortly after, Klaas Zwart, a businessman from The Netherlands, bought the company e became its leader.
A new production plant was built in Banbury, England, where Ascari’s headquarters is now placed.
In that same year, the company started raising the world’s first Race Resort, which is placed in the south of Spain.
topThe british carbuilder Ascari has built the Race Resort Ascari in a valley in the south of Spain, which the company runs alongside its regular car production.
Their racing team, Team Ascari, and all that is related to it is housed at the company’s homeland, Banbury.
Alberto Ascari’s father, Antonio Ascari, was a brilliant racing driver at the Grand Prix competitions of the 1920’s, resulting on son Alberto having the taste for racing in his blood. Therefore, the Ascari brand couldn’t be left out of the competitions.
