History

The extremely sophisticated car producer Caparo Vehicle Technologies was founded in 2006 by Lord Paul. This British manufacturer was previously known as Freestream, but it received its new name when the Caparo firm acquired it on April 2006. The CVT company currently produces one only model, the sports car Caparo T1, which is actually the former Freestream T1.

Alongside the car production, CVT is also specialized on the production of steel and all kinds of engineering products (including automotive) and practices private equity investments, besides providing services for hotels, film delivery and material testing. Moreover, Caparo also offers design services and an incredibly sophisticated technology development to use on road and race vehicles. The car production with the Caparo-supplied technology often results on extremely high performance cars.
