General Characteristics

Bringing it closer to the GranTurismo S and the Quattroporte Sport GT S, the GranCabrio Sport is powered by a more powerful and fuel-efficient all-alloy 4.7-litre V8, coupled with the ZF six-speed automatic transmission.

Producing 450 hp and maximum torque of 510 Nm, the naturally aspirated engine featured in the GranCabrio Sport makes it more reactive to the driver’s most-nuanced inputs thanks to Maserati’s Friction Reduction Program. It was also able to reduce fuel consumption by 6%, not loosing in performance as the GranCabrio Sport is able to reach a top speed of 285km/h.

Developed for the GranCabrio Sport directly from the transmission in the Quattroporte Sport GT S, the six-speed transmission is equipped with the super-fast MC Auto Shift software that optimizes gearshift response.

Thanks to the upgraded and revised Skyhook active-suspension system and to the fitting of grooved and drilled dual-cast brake discs, Maserati has also given a special attention to handling.

In terms style, the GranCabrio Sport has a more dynamic look, including the distinctive nose with a black grille and a Trident with red accents. The GranCabrio Sport features headlights with a black look and white sidemarks. The corner splitters and the redesigned side skirts are now both body coloured.
