The Maserati Quattroporte is a luxury four-door saloon manufactured since 1963. The model is currently produced in its fifth generation which was launched in 2004. The 2004 Quattroporte was designed by Pininfarina and is available with a 4.2 L engine producing 400 PS (294 kW).

The Quattroporte is offered in four trim levels: base Quattroporte, Quattroporte Sport GT, Quattroporte Sport GTS, and Quattroporte Executive GT. In 2007 the Sport GT S joined the line-up equipped with a 4.7 litre V8 producing 439 PS (323 kW; 433 hp). In 2008 a facelift was announced for the 2009 Quattroporte. In the same year the Quattroporte S was introduced, offering a 4.7L V8 with 430 PS (316 kW; 424 hp).
