The Tipo 61 Birdcage is a race sports car introduced in 1959. Designed by Giulio Alfieri, the car was specially built to race in the 24 Hours of Le Mans hence its intricate tubular space frame chassis that gave him the nickname "Birdcage".

Despite never having won a race at Le Mans it is still an iconic car in the history of the competition.
