Introduced in the market in 2011, the Mazda 3 1.6D Tamura is the 2nd generation of the compact model. Powered by a 1560cc engine, this version has a power output of 114 hp. The 3 1.6D Tamura features the smallest available engine in this generation. The hatchback reaches the 100km/h mark in 12.4 seconds at a top speed of 180 km/h. It features an average fuel consumption of 4.3 l/100km that translates into 115 g/km of CO2 emissions. The compact is the greenest car in this series. It has the lowest combined fuel consumption which makes it the most fuel-efficient. It has a boot volume of 1360 l. Although it can be extended by lowering the back seats.
