Mazda5 is minivan launched in 2005. This multi-activity vehicle (MPV) seats 7 people and has two sliding rear doors. The first generation was sold to 500 thousand costumers, 175 thousand in Europe. It also won awards worldwide, 37 in total. In 2010 the second generation was released. Mazda5 is available with petrol or diesel engines, but there are rumours that a hybrid prototype is being tested.
