Introduced in the market in 2008, this Mazda BT-50 Double Cab 4x4 Plus is the 1st generation of the pick-up model. Powered by a 2499cc engine, this model variant has a power output of 143 hp. When compared to other versions in this generation, this pick-up (double cab) is fitted with the smallest engine. The performance of the pick-up (double cab) is reflected on the top speed of 158 km/h and acceleration from 0 to 100km/h in 12.5 seconds. This four wheel drive version has a manual transmission with a 5-speed gearbox. The pick-up produces 244 g/km of CO2 emissions. It has a combined fuel consumption of 8.9 l/100km. The Mazda features recirculating ball steering, at the front it wears disc brakes and at the rear drum brakes. As for the seating arrangement, it offers space for up to 5 persons.
