Introduced in the market in 2008, this Mazda BT-50 Free-Style 4x2 Active is the 1st generation of the pick-up model. It is fitted with a 2499cc engine that produces 143 hp at 3500 rpm and a maximum torque of 330 nm. The engine is located at the front. The version operates on diesel doing an average of 8.5 l/100km. In terms of performance no other car of this series does it as well as this one. It has the most powerful engine of all variants. This rear wheel drive version has a manual transmission with a 5-speed gearbox. This car is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100km/h in 11 seconds at a maximum speed of 170 km/h. This pick-up variant has good values it terms of speed when compared to the other versions on this series. It is the fastest version with a higher top speed. In terms of efficiency, it has a combined fuel consumption of 8.5 l/100km and produces 233 g/km of CO2. This pick-up (standard cab) has room for 6 people. The 4-door Mazda BT-50 Free-Style 4x2 Active has 5075 mm in length with a wheelbase of 2985 mm, it is 1620 mm tall and 1715 mm wide. The Mazda BT-50 Free-Style 4x2 Active features recirculating ball steering, at the front it wears disc brakes and at the rear drum brakes.
