The S600 was introduced at the 2014 North American International Auto Show with a 523hp (530ps) and 612lb-ft (830Nm) from a 6.0-liter biturbo V12 with stop/start and Mercedes’ latest technology.

The 500cc boost in displacement over the previous S600 provides a 17hp boost in horsepower and is 21% more efficient than the previous engine at 11.1l/100km

The S600 gets a head-up display, touchpad and Collision Prevention Assist Plus.

The S600 comes with all of Mercedes’ latest technology including an adaptive suspension with road surface scan, active lane keeping assist, active blind spot assist, cross traffic assist and steering assist. The interior touchpad allows for letters, numbers and special characters to be entered in handwriting into the infotainment system.

The Collision Prevention Assist Plus is standard and adds adaptive Brake Assist at speeds up to 200km/h, and it can bring the car to a complete stop at up to 50km/h.
