First introduced in 2008 the Mercedes-Benz SL 63 AMG is part of SL-Class's 3rd generation, with the code name R 230. This version is powered by a front-mounted petrol 6208cc engine with a power output of 525 hp at 6800 rpm and a maximum torque of 630 nm. This SL 63 AMG features the biggest engine offered. The convertible (cabrio) accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.60 seconds and reaches a top speed of 250 km/h. It has an automatic transmission and rear wheel drive. In terms of efficiency, the luxury variant's combined fuel consumption is fixed at 16.8 l/100km. In terms of CO2 emissions, it is the most efficient choice in the SL-Class line-up. The Mercedes-Benz has rack & pinion steering. It uses disc brakes.
