Introduced in the market in 2003, the Mercedes-Benz Vito Combi L 120CDI/34 9L is the 2nd generation of the MPV model. Under the hood, the version is powered by a V6 2987cc engine which delivers maximum output of 204 hp at 3800 rpm and a maximum torque of 440 nm. The V6 engine featured on the rear wheel drive Vito Combi L 120CDI/34 9L is mated with a 5-speed automatic transmission. The vehicle is the most fuel-efficient out of the series range. It is in fact the one with lowest fuel consumption. The vehicle features rack & pinion steering, and it wears disc brakes. This car is a 4-door minibus version of the Vito, which seats up to 9 passengers.

Vito was introduced in 1996. The light commercial van is said to be named after Vitoria, a Spanish city, and Vito Rosenstein, a dedicated Mercedes’ employee. A more luxurious or passenger model was called V-Class, later replaced by Viano. A new generation was launched in 2003.
