History

The Mercedes 115 hp was a very successful racing car. It scored a triple win in the French GP in 19014, driven by Christian Lautenschlager, Louis Wagner and Otto Salzer.

This was Mercedes second win at the French GP, after the first one in 1908. Only this time the podium was all Mercedes. This vehicle had a completely new design, and a four-cylinder engine with two exhaust valves and two intake valves per cylinder, marking the first use of four-valve technology in a Mercedes engine.
