Eclipse was launched in 1990. The model was originally a 2-door coupe, but with the introduction of the second series, in 1996, it was offered a convertible version, called Spyder. Since the release, Eclipse has gone though many changes, particularly from the second to the third generation with the introduction of a new platform.
