The Outlander PHEV Concept-S is a concept based on the Outlander PHEV and it aims to create a sportier and more sophisticated vehicle.

According to Mitsubishi, the Outlander PHEV Concept-S adopts a more sophisticated interior and exterior design with the aim to enhance the driving experience of the first Plug-In Hybrid SUV available in the market. The Concept-S adopts the concept of "Sporty and sophisticated," with a combination of 4X4 performance, silent driving and roadholding provided by the PHEV system.
