Daihatsu Sirion is a subcompact car released in 1998. The 5-door model had been sold in Japan as Daihatsu Storia. It was also rebadged by Toyota as Duet. The second generation was presented in 2004. Again, Toyota rebadged the model as Passo. Daihatsu Sirion had a very discrete reception in Europe. The model has the option of a 1.0l, 1.3l and 1.5l engine.

Daihatsu started as Hatsudoki Seizo Co. founded in March 1st, 1907, a manufacturer of internal-combustion engines. The first car model released by the company was the HA, launched in 1930.
