Fusion is a mid-size 4-door saloon introduced in 2005. It was the first model to have the three/five-bar grille characteristic of modern Ford models. A new generation was released in 2010. The new series had a hybrid version available. Fusion was very well received since the launch of the first series; the new generation didn’t disappoint consumers or press and the new Fusion ended up winning big awards in 2010. Fusion has been present in NASCAR races since its debut.
