Fiat Strada is a 2-door pick-up version of Fiat's "world car" project, the Palio. Launched in 1996, the Strada is produced in Brazil and exported from Betim, Minas Gerais to the European Union.

The Strada was first launched in Brazil as the cargo member of the "178 Project" and as the successor of the City, a pickup version of the Fiorino, a commercial derivative of the Fiat Uno.
