GTS was launched in 1992. It is a high performance luxury sedan of the Holden Commodore. The introduction of a new Holden Commodore was always followed by a more powerful version of it by HSV. HSV claims that GTS is better than BMW M%, Mercedes CLS55 AMG or Lamborghini Gallardo, not only because it can go from 0 to 100km/62 miles in 4.9 seconds, but especially because it does the opposite, by using its breaking power, in just 36 meters, 30 cm more than a Porsche 997.
