Morgan is taking inspiration from the Gulf-liveried OAK Racing Morgan-Nissan that competed in the World Endurance Championship this year for a special edition of the Threewheeler limited to 100 cars. Morgan worked with OAK and Gulf to get permission to build the special edition.
Mechanically, the Gulf Threewheeler is identical to the standard car. All of the changes are cosmetic. The package includes a Gulf graphics package that paints the Threewheeler in the iconic powder blue and orange Gulf Racing colors with Gulf logos on the rear and side. The engine loses the chrome from the standard version in favor of an all black look. The mirrors get black and orange trim, and there is black trim around the headlights. The roll hoops, mud guards and exhaust are also done in black. Inside, the dashboard is black with black leather seats with orange stitching on the black steering wheel. Finally, the tires have orange sidewalls.
