This early model produced by the Burford, Van Toll company was a front-engined, single-cylinder air-cooled vehicle that featured belt-to-fast-and-loose pulley transmission with countershaft to spur gears in the rear axle, giving two forward gears. It was replaced by the end of the year by a two-cylinder 7hp model.
