Ferrari and Red Bull Must Stick to Same Testing Schedule as Other Teams

Red Bull and Ferrari have been denied by the FIA changing the days that it would test this week. The teams requested to change their testing days from Thursday to Sunday as all of the other teams to Friday to Monday. The FIA clarified that the teams could not change their testing days even if it were the same number of days. 

Ferrari will have Felipe Massa test on Thursday and Saturday and Fernando Alonso on Friday and Sunday. For Red Bull, Mark Webber will drive on Thursday and Saturday and Vettel for Friday and Sunday. 

This rule also affects Lotus and Marussia. The rule means that it will not be able to test before the Australian Grand Prix. Unless the FIA wants to allow an exception, Marussia will not be able to test its new car at all, due to its failed crash test, before going on track for the Australian Grand Prix.
