Newey has raced in the 24 Hours of Le Mans and drove the Red Bull RB5Red Bull RB5 RenaultAustria, 2009 > 20094 photos
at the 2010 Goodwood Festival of Speed. Newey will share the car with Alberto Sabbatini, editor-in-chief of the Italian magazine Autosprint.

Lamborghini expects 18 cars in the race, and it thinks 13 of those teams will be new to the series. The race will be broadcast on Eurosport.

The Blancpain Super Trofeo series is a spec racing series for the Lamborghini Super Trofeo. The car are lightened versions of the LP 560-4 with 570hp. The series is a support race for the Blancpain Endurance Series. Its season has races at Monza, Silverstone, Paul Ricard, Spa, the Nürburgring and Navarra in Spain.
