Alfa Romeo Giulietta Getting Feature Role in 'Fast & Furious 6'

plays a key role in one of the film's action scenes. Alfa is also starting an advertising campaign in Europe linking the Giulietta and " Fast & Furious 6."

The scene in which the Giulietta stars as the car driving out of an Antonov cargo plane during takeoff and having a chase sequence through a busy airport. The scenes were shot using specially modified Giuliettas, and the cars were just shipped back to Italy to be used in the film's marketing campaign. The scenes are also being used in a new television commercial for the Giulietta in Italy.

The film will get its wide release on May 22. 

Alfa Romeo has sold 192,000 Giuliettas since the new model was introduced in May 2010.
