Alfa Romeo Has 20% Growth in 2011 Thanks to Giulietta and Mito

Alfa Romeo has had a successful year in 2011 thanks to good sales of the Giulietta and Mito. It increased market share to 1% and sales grew by 20%. Alfa Romeo now makes up 2.8% of the market share in Europe and 14.5% in Italy. It registered 80,000 cars in Europe in 2011. Of those 40% came from Italy. Alfa Romeo's most popular foreign market is France. In sales 90% of gone to the highest range Distinctive and Exclusive models. White is the most popular Alfa Romeo color. 

The automatic TCT in the Giulietta works in either automatic or sequential modes. Alfa Romeo claims that the Giulietta with TCT is the most eco-friendly petrol compact in its class with 5.2l/100km fuel economy and 121g/km of CO2 emissions. 

Alfa Romeo will have seven cars at its exhibition including the Mito Twinair and Mito Quadrifoglio  Verde with the 1.4 Multiair Turbo.

Alfa Romeo is not bringing any new models to the Geneva Motor Show.
