Aston Martin Cygnet in Black and White at launch

For the arrival of its city car, the Cygnet, Aston Martin has created two strictly limited launch editions. These two versions representing the basis of the Cygnet: “a Tailor-Fit solution for urban driving in the contemporary metropolis.”

With the two special editions, White and Black, Aston Martin will be willing to show the bespoke nature of the new car, while celebrating the start of production. Both editions will be available with either standard manual or optional CVT automated transmission and each will be produced for a strictly limited time.

The Cygnet Launch Edition White will have a colour finishing in Snow White paint with a mix of silver mesh, chrome brightwork and White Diamond turned alloy wheels. Inside the White edition will feature seats hand trimmed in Pearl white leather with perforated Alcantara inserts, complemented by satin chrome. The Aston Martin’s iconic wings badge will also be featuring in matching white.

For the Black version, Aston Martin has selected the Magic Black metallic paint with a specially developed deep sea green effect, which is balanced by the matt black louvers and the chrome. The interior has been covered in black, with the seats and dash finished in pure black full grain leather perforated in a specially-developed diamond pattern. The cabin is adorned with dark chrome accents and the wings badges are black coloured.

The Aston Martin Cygnet will have its official launch on April 2011.
