range. The model received some minor design changes, in addition to an increased power of its engines. These changes also included the top-of-the-range S7 Sportback.
The A7 Sportback didn't get updated since 2010, so Audi decided it was time to make a few retouches. The result is a vehicle with a redesigned front grille, with a more aggressive bumper and LED headlights with a new design and available with the Matrix LED technology. The new A7 SportbackAudi A7 Sportback 3.0 TDIGermany, 2014 > present also gets new exhaust and a new rear bumper.
The range of the updated model will feature a choice of five engines, two petrol and three diesel, with outputs ranging from 218 to 450hp and all of them fulfilling the EU6 emission standard. Many details of the 3.0 TDI clean diesel 272hp were newly developed and the 3.0-liter V6 218hp engine of the "ultra" version with front-wheel drive has an estimated 4.7 litres/100km average consumption, with emissions of 122g/km of CO2. The engine of 4.0 TSFI 450hp equipped on the S7 SportbackAudi S7 Sportback 4.0 TFSIGermany, 2014 > present uses innovative cylinder deactivation (COD - "cylinder on demand").
While the 3.0 TDI clean diesel biturbo version uses an eight-speed Tiptronic transmission, the other versions are equipped with a seven-speed S tronic gearbox.
The interior of the new Audi A7 Sportback gets an updated infotainment system, equipped with the MMI Navigation systems with MMI touch. The vehicle also includes Audi Connect technology, which connects the vehicle to the internet via LTE, and a Bang & Olufsen sound system.
The new Audi A7 Sportback and S7 Sportback will be arriving in the coming months to dealers. In Germany the A7 Sportback will be sold from 51,300 euros and the new S7 Sportback from 82,300 euros.
