a few weeks ago. It is too soon for even any renderings to be released. The car will ride on General Motors’ new Omega platform. A concept will be shown at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in 2013, and it will go on sale in 2014.

“These are fun, happy times at Cadillac. We’re expanding and elevating the brand,” said Don Butler, Cadillac’s head of marketing.
Cadillac is also working on a production version of the Ciel convertible concept from 2011. This will be in addition to flagship sedan. However, GM is hinting that the two cars will share the Omega platform.
“We’re working on more new Cadillacs than at any time in the history of the brand,” said Butler.
